Community Patrol news – February 2007Calling volunteers for the Wilderness Lake Preserve Neighborhood Crime Watch program Officer Eckert, Pasco County Sheriff’s office, has offered several introductory meetings to implement a Neighborhood Crime Watch program. We still need Village Captains and a Community Program Coordinator. We know there are many more of you that want to get involved. If your neighborhood does not have a representative please consider volunteering…we need your help. Below is important information on reporting crime, vandalism, traffic concerns and inappropriate behavior. Please call the sheriff’s department at their non-emergency number 813-929-1204 or call 911 in the event of an emergency. Get as much information as possible to assist the police such as:
By contacting the sheriff directly, this assures quicker response and proper documentation. On many occasions in the past our residents have called the Lodge or Ranger Station when they should have called the sheriff’s department. Thank you in advance for helping get our message out! |
